19.2 Event Filter

Event filters are used to restrict the uses from seeing unauthorized events. Event filters returns
valid events only. You may add various criteria in the filter.

The process to search an event filter on the Filter dialog box is same as searching a door filter.

Add Event Filter

To add an event filter:

1. On the ACUS home page, click Settings

→ AC Elements → Filters. The Filter dialog

box appears.

2. Click

Add. The fields in the right area of the dialog box are reset.

3. Click to select the filter type from the Filter Type drop-down list. Select Event

Filter.

4. Enter the name of the filter in the Name field.

5. Select

the

Private check box to mark this filter private. No other user apart from you

will be able to edit or delete this filter if it is marked private. Other users will be able to
view the filter only.

6. Select the date and time from when you want to apply this filter from the From drop-

down list.
