25.8 domain-name

Command:

domain-name <domain-name>

no domain-name <domain-name>

Function:

To configure domain name of DHCPv6 client; the no form of this command will delete the domain

name.

Parameter:

<domain-name> is the domain name, less than 32 characters.

Command Mode:

DHCPv6 Address Pool Configuration Mode.

Default:

The domain name parameter of address pool is not configured by default.

Usage Guide:

At most 3 domain names can be configured for each address pool.

Example:

To set the domain name of DHCPv6 client as test.com.cn

Switch(dhcp-1-config)#domain-name test.com.cn

25.9 excluded-address

Command:

excluded-address <ipv6-address>

no excluded-address <ipv6-address>

Function:

To configure the specified IPv6 address to be excluded from the address pool, the excluded

address will not be allocated to any hosts; the no form of this command will remove the

configuration.

Parameter:

<ipv6-address> is the IPv6 address to be excluded from being allocated to hosts in the address

pool.

Default:

Disabled

Command Mode:

DHCPv6 address pool configuration mode.

Usage Guide:

This command is used to preserve the specified address from DHCPv6 address allocation.

Example:

To configure to exclude 2001:da8:123::1 from DHCPv6 address allocation.
