31.26 neighbor

Command:

neighbor <A.B.C.D>

no neighbor <A.B.C.D>

Function:

Specify the destination address requires targeted-peer sending. The “no neighbor

<A.B.C.D>“command cancels the specified address and restores all gateways to trustable.

Parameter:

<A.B.C.D> is the specified destination address for the sending, shown in dotted decimal notation.

Default:

Not sending to any targeted-peer destination address.

Command Mode:

Router mode

Usage Guide:

When used accompany with passive-interface command it can be configured to only sending

routing messages to specific neighbor.

Example:

Switch# config terminal

Switch(config)# router rip

Switch(config-router)# neighbor 1.1.1.1
