18.4 TIMEOUT
Sets the amount of time an IP SLA operation waits for a response from its request packet.
To turn to default value, use no form of this command.
18.4.1.1 Command Syntax
timeout seconds
no timeout
18.4.1.2 Syntax Description
seconds
Time range is from 1 to 4800.
Frequency ≥ timeout ≥ threshold
18.4.1.3 Command Mode
Ipsla mode
18.4.1.4 Defaults
Default value is 5 seconds.
18.4.1.5 Examples
In the following example, the timeout command is used to set the time range:
Switch(config)#ip sla monitor 1
Switch(config-ipsla)# timeout 10
