25.26 ldp keepalive-interval

Use this command to set the interval for sending keep-alive messages to the peer in order to

maintain a session. Use the no parameter to revert to the keep-alive interval set for the main LDP

process.

Command Syntax

(no) ldp keepalive-interval number

Syntax Description

number

Specifies the interval in seconds, the range is 10 to 21845

Command Mode

Interface mode

Defaults

The default is 10 seconds

Examples

In the following example, the ldp keepalive-interval command is used to set the interval for

sending keep-alive messages to the peer in order to maintain a session:

Switch# configure terminal

Switch(config)# interface eth-0-1

Switch(config-if)# ldp keepalive-interval 635
