25.24 ldp hello-interval

Use this command to set the interval for sending multicast Hello packets via an interface. Use the

no parameter with this command to revert to the hello-interval value set for the main LDP process.


Command Syntax

(no) ldp hello-interval number

Syntax Description

number

Specifies the interval in seconds, the range is 1 to 21845

Command Mode

Interface mode

Defaults

The default is 5 seconds.

Examples

In the following example, the ldp hello-interval command is used to set the interval for sending

multicast Hello packets via an interface:

Switch# configure terminal

Switch(config)# interface eth-0-1

Switch(config-if)# ldp hello-interval 635
