Overtravel Function

This section describes the procedure for using the overtravel function.

9.2.1

Overview

The overtravel function will force the movable part of the machine to stop when it exceeds
its movable range. Overtravel stop is available for the MP920 Motion Module when SER-
VOPACK functions are used.

SERVOPACK connections and parameter settings will vary with the model of SERVO-
PACK. The following section describes the connection and setting procedure.

Overtravel Input Signal Connections

You must connect the input signal from the following overtravel limit switch to the appropri-
ate pin number on the SERVOPACK 1CN connector to use the overtravel function.
