7.2.1

Operation in Alarm Traceback Mode

The Alarm Traceback Mode can display up to ten alarms that have occurred, thus
making it possible to check what kind of alarms have been generated.
The alarm traceback data is not cleared on alarm reset or when the servo amplifier
power is turned OFF.
The data can be cleared using the special “clear alarm traceback mode.” Refer to
7.2.5 Clearing Alarm Traceback Data

for details.

Checking Alarms

Follow the procedure below to determine which alarms have been generated.

Using the Hand-held Digital Operator

1.

Press the DSPL/SET key to select the “Displaying alarm traceback data
(Fn000)” in the auxiliary function mode.

2.

Press the DATA/ENTER key, and the alarm traceback data will be displayed.

3.

Press the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key to scroll the alarm sequence
numbers up or down and display information on previous alarms.
The higher the leftmost digit (alarm sequence number), the older the alarm data.

Using the Built-in Panel Operator

1.

Press the MODE/SET key to select the “Displaying alarm traceback data
(Fn000)” in the auxiliary function mode.

2.

Press the DATA/SHIFT key for a minimum of one second to display the alarm
traceback data.

3.

Press the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key to scroll the alarm sequence
numbers up or down and display information on previous alarms.
