Syntax
ipv6 route distance integer
no ipv6 route distance integer
• integer—Specifies the distance (preference) of an individual static route. (Range 1-255)
Default Configuration
Default value of integer is 1.

User Guidelines
Lower route distance values are preferred when determining the best route.
Example
The following example sets the default distance to 80.
console(config)#ipv6 route distance 80
ipv6 unicast-routing
Use the ipv6 unicast-routing command in Global Configuration mode to enable forwarding of
IPv6 unicast datagrams.
Syntax
ipv6 unicast-routing
no ipv6 unicast-routing
Default Configuration
Disabled is the default configuration.
