Probable Cause Indicates that the number of end-to-end cyclic redundancy check (CRC) errors has risen above the high
boundary. Invalid CRC messages occur when the number of CRC errors in Fibre Channel frames for
specific source ID (S_ID) and destination ID (D_ID) pairs change. These messages might also be
caused by dirty equipment, temperature fluctuations, and aging equipment.
