Probable Cause

Indicates that the number of invalid timestamps has changed. Invalid timestamp violations indicate that a
packet with an invalid timestamp has been received from the primary fabric configuration server (FCS).
When the primary FCS downloads a new configuration to other switches in the fabric, the packet is
tagged with a timestamp. The receiving switch compares this timestamp to its current time. If the
difference is too great, it rejects the packet. This counter keeps track of packets rejected due to invalid
timestamps.
