35.2.19 ip igmp snooping vlan report source-address

Command:

ip igmp snooping vlan <vlan-id> report source-address <A.B.C.D>

no ip igmp snooping vlan <vlan-id> report source-address

Function:

Configure forward report source-address for IGMP, the “no ip igmp snooping vlan <vlan-id> report

source-address” command restores the default setting.

Parameter:

vlan-id: VLAN ID range<1-4094>;

A.B.C.D: IP address, can be 0.0.0.0.

Command Mode:

Global Mode.

Default:

Disabled.

Usage Guide:

Default configuration is recommended here. If IGMP snooping needs to be configured, the source address for

forwarded IGMP messages can be 0.0.0.0. If it is required by the upstream that IGMP messages should use the

same network address, the source address of IGMP messages should be configured to be the same with upstream.

Example:

Switch (config)#ip igmp snooping vlan 2 report source-address 10.1.1.1
