Behavior Name Name of the traffic behavior being configured.
CAR
CAR Configure CAR for data packets.
Enable/Disable Enable or disable CAR.
CIR
Set the committed information rate
(CIR), the average traffic rate.
IMPORTANT:
For bursty traffic to be handled
effectively, make sure that the ratio
of CBS to CIR is at least 100:16.
CBS
Set the committed burst size (CBS),
number of bits that can be sent in
each interval.
Green
Discard Set the action to perform for conforming packets (green packets), which
can be:
• Discard—Drops the packets.
• Pass—Permits the packets to pass through.
• Pass (Remark DSCP)—Sets a specific DSCP value for the packets and
permits the packets to pass through. With this option selected, you
must select a DSCP value.
By default, conforming packets are permitted to pass through.

If this box is not selected, FIFO schedules packets by default.
EF
EF Configure expedited forwarding (EF).

Bandwidth
Configure the maximum bandwidth for EF.
CBS Configure the CBS for EF when the Max Bandwidth option is selected.
Percent Configure the percent of available bandwidth for EF.
CBS-Ratio
Configure the ratio of CBS to CIR for EF when the Percent option is
selected.
AF
AF Configure assured forwarding (AF).
