In this configuration example, either Router A or Router B is the SecPath firewall.

, enable RIPv2 on all interfaces on Router A and Router B.

Configuration procedure

Configure an IP address for each interface. (Details not shown)

Configure basic RIP functions:
# Configure Router A.

<RouterA> system-view

[RouterA] rip

[RouterA-rip-1] network 1.0.0.0

[RouterA-rip-1] network 2.0.0.0

[RouterA-rip-1] network 3.0.0.0

# Configure Router B.

<RouterB> system-view

[RouterB] rip

[RouterB-rip-1] network 1.0.0.0

[RouterB-rip-1] network 10.0.0.0

# Display the RIP routing table on Router A.

[RouterA] display rip 1 route

Route Flags: R - RIP, T - TRIP

P - Permanent, A - Aging, S - Suppressed, G - Garbage-collect
