Dashboard toolbar
The dashboard toolbar ( Figure 56 ) is located above the status widgets or performance monitors
and provides a information about the selected dashboard as well as buttons to perform various
functions.

The dashboard toolbar contains the following fields and components:
1. Collapse/Expand buttons — Click the Expand button to hide the expand navigation bar. Click
the Collapse button to display the expand navigation bar.
2. Dashboard name — The name of the selected dashboard.
3. Refreshed time — The time of the last refresh for the page.
4. Dashboard Settings button — Click to configure how to display the widgets on the dashboard.

5. Scope — Use to select network scope and time scope for which you want to display data in the
dashboard. For more details refer to “Setting the network scope” on page 169.
General dashboard functions
• Severity summary — Most widgets and monitors display the severity by color and the number of
products with that severity beneath the widget title. The Events, Inventory, and Status widgets
display the severity icons and the number of products with that severity beneath the widget
title. When the widget or monitor is minimized, the severity summary continues to display.
• All Status widgets and Performance monitors have a Collapse/Expand title bar button. Status
widgets also have a Show Legend button. Performance widgets also have a View Details
button.
- Collapse/Expand button — Click to minimize or expand the selected widget or monitor.
- Show Legend button — Click to display the color legend for the selected widget.
- View Details button — Click to view additional details for the selected monitor.
• Tooltips — Status widgets with a pie chart or bar graph display tooltips when you pause on a
section or bar. Performance monitors with a percentage display tooltips when you pause on a
section of the percentage column.
- For the pie chart widgets, the tooltip displays the name of the category, number of items in
that category, and the percentage.
- For the bar graph widgets, the tooltip displays the count represented by the selected bar.
- For the performance monitors, the tooltip displays the minimum, current, and maximum
values for the selected row.
• Pop-up notification — When you make a change to the dashboard in the Java client, a pop-up
notification detailing the change displays in the web client.
