After configuration of the encryption group is completed, the Management application sends
API commands to verify the switch configuration.

11. Click Next.

The Next Steps dialog box displays. (Refer to

Figure 350

.) Instructions for installing public key

certificates for the encryption switch are displayed. These instructions are specific to the key
vault type.

12. Review the post-configuration instructions, which you can copy to a clipboard or print for later.

13. Click Finish to exit the Configure Switch Encryption wizard.

on page 800.

Configuring key vault settings for Key Management Interoperability
Protocol

The following procedure assumes you have already configured the initial steps in the Configure
Switch Encryption wizard. If you have not already done so, go to

“Creating a new encryption group”

on page 764.

NOTE:

With the introduction of Fabric OS 7.1.0, KMIP with SafeNet KeySecure for key management
(SSKM) native hosting LKM is supported. Before selecting KMIP as the key vault type, all nodes
in a KeySecure encryption group must be running Fabric OS 7.1.0 or later.
