Configuring access device groups

An access device group is a collection of access devices that provide the following functions:

Forward authentication packets between endpoint users and UAM.

Control network access behaviors of endpoint users.

Endpoint users match multiple access conditions if the access devices to which they connect belong to

two or more access device groups. An access device group can include both IPv4 and IPv6 access

devices.

Accessing the access device group list page

1.

Click the User tab.

2.

Select User Access Policy > Access Condition > Access Device Group from the navigation tree.
The list includes all access device groups.
Access device group list contents

Access Device Group Name—Access device group name, which must be unique in UAM. Click
the group name to view its details.

Description—Access device group description.

{

Service Group—Service group to which the access device group belongs.

{

Modify—Click the Modify icon to modify the access device group.

{

Delete—Click the Delete icon to delete the access device group.

Click Refresh on top of the list to view the latest access device groups.

Querying access device groups

1.

Access the access device group list page.

2.

In the Query Access Device Groups area, specify one or more of the following query criteria:

Access Device Group Name—Enter the access device group name. UAM supports fuzzy
matching for this field. For example, if you enter 1, all access device groups whose names

contain 1 are queried.

Device IP—Enter a complete IPv4 address. Use this parameter to query the access device groups
that contain the device with the specified IPv4 address.

Service Group—Select Ungrouped or a service group from the list.

Device IPv6—Enter a complete IPv6 address. Use this parameter to query the access device
groups that contain the device with the specified IPv6 address. This parameter is available only

when IPv6 is enabled. For information about enabling IPv6, see "

Empty fields are ignored.

3.

Click Query to perform the query. The access device group list shows all access device groups that
match the query criteria.
