e. In the Smart Card or other Certificate Properties dialog box, select the following options:
− Use a certificate on this computer
− Use simple certificate selection (Recommended).
− Validate sever certificate
− CA server (08R2-SQL08R2-88-CA in this example) on the Trusted Root Certification
Authorities list.
f. Click OK.
