32 Configuring global system settings

The global system settings determine the operation of the UAM system and its services, and also

determine the management policy for access users.
Global system settings include:

System parameters

Policy server parameters

User endpoint settings

UAM system operation log parameters

User prompt configuration

Autorun tasks on client configuration

Password strategy configuration

Roaming configuration

Auto-cancel accounts settings

Domain controller-assisted PEAP authentication

Wireless positioning parameters

Authentication notify parameters

Client anti-crack configuration

Proxy server detection settings

SMS settings

User SMS notification

Account expiration warning configuration

Third-party authentication system

Cell phone number range

Certificate configuration

Client upgrade configuration

Smart device client upgrade configuration

Unified authentication configuration

System setting validation

Configuring system parameters

System parameters are related to all services in UAM, and must be properly configured to guarantee

normal operation of services.
To configure the system parameters:

1.

Click the User tab.

2.

Select User Access Policy > Service Parameters > System Settings from the navigation tree.
The list includes all the system settings.
