ASRN Chip Used by 1746 or 1771 I/O Chassis
The number of ASRN chips used by a 1746 or 1771 I/O chassis will vary
depending on the chassis size and the number and type of digital/analog
I/O cards installed in the chassis. Refer to page 10B-10 for information on
calculating the number of ASRN chips used by one of these racks.
The number of ASRN “chips” used by the 1746 or 1771 I/O chassis must
be added to the total number of ASRN “chips” used by all the I/O devices
on the current I/O ring.
