This section only discusses the use of the E--Series analog I/O module. If
you are using a 1746 analog I/O device, refer to page 10B-10 for
installation and operation details. The Analog I/O provides analog input
and output to the control through the system I/O ring. It converts analog
inputs to digital inputs and digital outputs to analog outputs for
transmission to and from the control via the I/O ring. Each analog I/O
provides 1 input channel and 1 output channel.
