Important: The keyboard is inactive during a PAL download; therefore,
you cannot stop or freeze data on the screen while downloading PAL.
Communication data is shown in hexadecimal form with two characters
used for each communication byte. Data is continually overwritten in the
display area. The position on the screen where the next data byte will be
written is indicated by a blinking, block cursor.
You have these softkey choices:
FREEZE -- only the data scope display is frozen; no interruption of
communication occurs. This means that while the display is in “freeze,”
communication data is lost.
UNFREEZE -- begins display of real time communication data from the
current cursor position.
CLEAR -- erases the displayed data and positions the cursor to the upper
left of the display area; no data is lost.
