3.8 Commissioning of the "Table positioning" technology application

Positioning
1. Requesting the "Positioning" operating mode:
• Set digital input DI5 to HIGH level to select profile 3 and at the same time request the
"Positioning" operating mode.
2. Start positioning:
• Set digital input DI6 to HIGH level ("Alternative function PosExecute").
3. Conclude positioning when the target position has been reached:
• Reset digital input DI6 to LOW level.

Tip!
The active operating mode (
C01243 ) in the signal flow can also be controlled by means of
the setting of the switch in the "Motion Control Kernel" block.
