Managing Control Points
Control points (also called control ports) are serial or Ethernet ports on the NV9000 system control-
ler through which you connect routers, control panels and other devices. You can connect other net-
works too. Control points are added, updated and removed using the ‘Control Points’ table
accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
Adding Control Points
Control points can be added and configured at any time. Changes take effect when the configura-
tion is written to the system controller. For more information, see
Controls points can be added using the ‘Control Points’ table accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
How to Add Control Points

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Control Points’. The ‘Control
Points’ table appears:
