Adding a Control Panel
5 In the ‘VFD Display Options’ section, select the level that displays on each line of the VFD
Display, or select <none> to have no level display.
6 In the ‘Outputs’ and ‘Inputs’ sections, define the general-purpose I/O (GPIO) connections at the
rear of the control panel as described in Defining General Purpose I/O (GPIO) Connections on
page 337.

Source Master All modes The button reverses the direction of data
routing for devices used in data (control)
level "takes". For example, if the
(controlling) destination is the master and
the (controlled) source is the slave,
pressing Source Master reverses the roles.

Source Preview All modes Places the control panel into a mode
through which the source device
assigned to a button can be determined
without taking the source to the current
destination.

Source Shift All modes Allows the operator to select the second
source device mapped to a source button.
Two sets of source devices can be
programmed. The button toggles between
the “unshifted” set and the “shifted” set.
