Adding a Control Panel
5 In the ‘VFD Display Options’ section, select the level that displays on each line of the VFD
Display, or select <none> to have no level display.
6 In the ‘Outputs’ and ‘Inputs’ sections, define the general-purpose I/O (GPIO) connections at the
rear of the control panel as described in
Defining General Purpose I/O (GPIO) Connections
7 Click

Source Master
All modes
The button reverses the direction of data
routing for devices used in data (control)
level "takes". For example, if the
(controlling) destination is the master and
the (controlled) source is the slave,
pressing Source Master reverses the roles.
Source Preview

Places
the control panel into a mode
through which the source device
assigned to a button can be determined
without taking the source to the current
destination.
Source Shift
All modes
Allows the operator to select the second
source device mapped to a source button.
Two sets of source devices can be
programmed. The button toggles between
the “unshifted” set and the “shifted” set.

Toggle
All modes
Toggles between a source in one mode (i.e.
X-Y) and a destination in another mode
(i.e. MD).

Button is either a single source or a single
destination depending on the operating
mode.
Take
All modes
Switches the loaded preset source device(s)
to the selected destination device on all
levels that have a preset loaded. The
‘Status’ column changes to the new
device(s).

Makes the button undefined and inactive. It
will remain unlit.
