How to Add Level Sets Using the ‘Level Sets’ Table

1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

Launching and Exiting the Application

on page 12.)

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Level Sets’. The ‘Level Sets’ table

appears:

Physical Level

Select a physical level from the drop-down list to associate with the virtual level

(that is, the virtual level maps to the physical level). Physical levels are entered when
router information is added. See

Updating Router Physical Levels

on page 87.

Free Source

(Optional) Select a free source from the drop-down list to associate with the virtual
level. A free source is a source, usually black and silence, that can be routed to a

destination to free up that destination.
The drop-down list displays all devices defined as being associated with the current

level set, if any. From these devices you can choose a free source.
To add a free source device, you must first create the level set, add devices to it, and

then return to the level set and select the free source. See

Devices

on page 157.
