10. Categories
Locating and Viewing Existing Categories
To narrow the list of categories that display, enter the first characters of a category name in the
‘Mnemonic Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only categories matching
that character string.

How to locate and view categories using the ‘Category Details’ table
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See Launching and Exiting the Application on page 12.)
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Category Details’. The ‘Category
Details’ table appears, as shown in Figure 10-17.
All categories currently defined in the system are listed. To narrow the list, enter the first char-
acters of the category’s name in the ‘Category Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to
display only categories matching that character string.

ID Lists the ID number associated with the category.
Mnemonic Lists the name associated with the category.
Description An optional, brief description of the category.
