5 The fields display default settings. There are two sections: ‘External Interface Info’ and ‘Exter-

nal Interface Connection Info’. The fields in the ‘External Interface Connection Info’ section
change depending on the protocol selected in step 4.
Update information, as needed:

7 (Optional) Select control point, run condition, run priority, and log mode information using the

‘Apps’ table. See

on page 417.

on the window title tab to close the page.

External Interface
Info

Name

The name assigned to the external interface. The information
entered in the ‘Add External Interface’ page displays. You can

change it here at this time.

Params

Special parameters to be added for specific functions or to have
special features enabled. For more information, contact Miranda

Technical Support.

Connection Info

(displays if Ethernet
protocol selected)

IP Address

Enter the IP address for the external interface communication
with the NV9000-SE system.

(displays if serial
protocol selected)

Port

From the drop-down list, select a port and then select settings

for that port as required.
Note: The serial port settings differ depending on which
protocol was selected in Step 4. The Miranda router standard is

38.4 K baud, 8 data bits, no parity, and 1 stop bit.
