Adding Suffixes to Categories
3 Double-click on a single row to open details for that category. The ‘Category Details’ page
appears, as shown in Figure 10-5.

Click anywhere in the row listing the category being updated. Use the ‘Shift’ or ‘Ctrl’ key on
your keyboard to select multiple categories. Each category opens in a separate tabbed window.
Click the tab to bring that window forward.

4 Add suffixes to the category device-by-device. If using a NV5128-MC Master Control Panel,
suffixes cannot be defined. Instead, the device index number is used. See How to Define Cate-
gory Indexes for NV5128-MC Master Control Panel on page 198.
a From the list of devices, click anywhere in the row listing the device you want to select. Use
the ‘Shift’ or ‘Ctrl’ key on your keyboard to select multiple devices. If more than one
device is selected, the suffix will be applied to all selected devices.
b In the ‘Set Selected Suffixes’ section, click in a column to activate it and select a suffix
from the drop-down list. Up to 8 suffixes can be selected.
c Click
Set
to apply the suffixes to all selected devices.
5 Click
Save
to apply the suffixes to all selected devices.

To revert to the previously saved category definition, click
Revert to Saved
.
