10. Categories
Locating and Viewing Existing Categories
The ‘Category Details’ page appears:

There are two sections: ‘Category Info’ displays the category name and a brief description, if
any, of the category. ‘Category Details’ provides a list of all devices associated with the cate-
gory and each suffix assigned to the device.
4 To narrow the list of devices that display, enter the first characters of the device’s name in the
field above the ‘Device Mnemonic’ column. The list is automatically reduced to display only
devices matching that character string.
Or
Enter the first characters of a suffix assigned to a device in the field above any of the ‘Suffix’
columns. The list is automatically reduced to display only devices matching that character
string.
5 To display the ‘Index’ column, click
Show Index
, located at the bottom of the page. (You may
need to scroll down to see the button.)
6 Click
X
on the window title tab to close the page.
How to Locate and View Categories Using the ‘Categories’ Table
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See Launching and Exiting the Application on page 12.)
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Categories’. The ‘Categories’ table
appears, as shown in Figure 10-16.
