15. Salvos
Updating Salvo Information
The ‘Salvo Details’ page has four sections:
• Sources — Lists all source devices in the upper region and all virtual levels associated with
those devices in the lower region. (See About Devices on page 158 and Physical Levels vs.
Virtual Levels on page 112.)
• Destinations — Lists all destination devices in the upper region and all virtual levels
associated with those devices in the lower region. (See About Devices on page 158 and
Physical Levels vs. Virtual Levels on page 112.)
• Current Salvo Operations — Options for selected actions.
• Salvo Description — Brief description of the selected actions.
The fields in the ‘Sources’ sections change depending on the option selected in the ‘Current
Salvo Operation’ section. As options are selected in the ‘Current Salvo Operation’ section, a
description of the operation appears in the ‘Salvo Description’ section.
4 Update salvo action, as needed.

levels that have a preset loaded. The ‘Status’

Source Lock Sources only Enables any Lock button to lock sources on
the control panel. If ‘Enable Source Lock’ is
not selected, the Lock button cannot be used
to lock sources on the panel.

Source Protect Sources only Enables any Protect button to protect

Protect’ is not selected, the Protect button

Sources only The panel can release source locks and

assigned user). A user who has the correct
PIN can enable ‘Force Release’ temporarily,
allowing the removing of locks and protects
set by any user.
