NV9603
The ‘NV9603’ page determines how the NV9603 control panel functions and displays. For a full
description of the control panel and functions, see
The ‘NV9603’ page is divided into sections:
• Button Layout
—
A graphic representation of the control panel. Click on a button to assign a
function to it. Certain buttons have preassigned functions and cannot be changed.
• Button Definitions
—
Assigns a function to the currently selected button in the ‘Button Layout’
field. The options available as definitions change depending on the options selected in the
‘Panel Options’ section.
• Panel Options
—
Specifies control panel behavior, such as the mode of operation and default
mode.
The control panel options, button layout and button definitions are configured using the ‘NV9603’
page. When saved, the configurations are communicated to the physical control panel and appear to
the operator using the control panel
Source
All modes
Loads a predefined source device into the
preset column, ready for selection by
pressing Take.
When you assign ‘Source’ to a button, a
drop-down list appears in which you select a
source(s). Select a level from ‘Level Set
Filter’ to limit the sources to only those
assigned to that level. (The same is true if
selecting destinations in MD mode.)
Source Master
All modes
The button reverses the direction of data
routing for devices used in data (control)
level "takes". For example, if the
(controlling) destination is the master and the
(controlled) source is the slave, pressing
Source Master reverses the roles.
Source Shift
All modes
Allows the operator to select the second
source device mapped to a source button.
Two sets of source devices can be
programmed. The button toggles between the
“unshifted” set and the “shifted” set.
Undefined
All modes
Makes the button undefined and inactive. It
will remain unlit.
