3 Locate the row listing the salvo being updated.
4 Click in the ‘Mnemonic’ field to activate it and enter a new name.
5 In the ‘Salvos’ table, click in the ‘Description’ field to activate it an enter a new description.

Updating Salvo File Path

The file path for a salvo can be updated at any time. When a file path is updated, the salvo that
exists at that directory location is now associated with the selected salvo list (the folder containing
the salvo). File paths are automatically created when a salvo is added to the NV9000-SE system.

on page 432.) By default, NV9000-SE creates a default pathname for the

configuration file by concatenating

\nvision\envy\bin\usersys\live\

and the configuration file

name. The pathname is expressed relative to the hard disk of any NV9000 server.

Salvo file paths can be changed using the ‘Salvos’ table accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.

How to Update a Salvo Pathname

1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

Launching and Exiting the Application

on page 12.)

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Salvos’. The ‘Salvos’ table

appears, as shown in Figure 15-12.
