How to Update a Signal Type
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See
Launching and Exiting the Application
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Signal Types’. The ‘Signal Types’
table appears, as shown in Figure 8-36.
To narrow the list of signals that display, enter the first characters of a signal type in the ‘Name
Filer’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only signal types matching that charac-
ter string.

3 To change the signal type name, click on the name being updated in the ‘Name’ column to acti-
vate that cell and enter a new name.
4 To change the signal type description, click on the description being updated in the ‘Descrip-
tion’ column to activate that cell and enter a new description.
5 Click
Save

‘Virtual Level Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only virtual levels
matching that character string.
