8. Level Sets
Updating Level Sets
Physical level mappings can be changed using the ‘Level Sets’ page accessed through the ‘Config-
uration’ pane or the ‘Level Set Details’ table accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
Physical levels are created when router information is entered. For more information, see Updating
Router Physical Levels on page 87.
How to Change Physical Levels Associated with a Level Set Using the ‘Level Sets’ Page
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See Launching and Exiting the Application on page 12.)
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Configuration’ pane and then ‘Level Sets’. The ‘Level
Sets’ page appears, as shown in Figure 8-22.
To narrow the list of level sets that display, enter the first characters of a level set name in the
‘Name Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only level sets matching that
character string.

Warning This will redirect all crosspoints currently in use from the “old” physical router to
the “new” router with potentially dire consequences. Do NOT do this while
“live”.
