Adding an EC9700/EC9710 Panel

7 In the ‘Panel Presence’ subsection within the ‘GUI Options’ section, select control panel lay-

outs. To have one of the control panel layouts display as the default whenever the control panel
is opened, select the ‘Default’ radio button next to that option.

8 In the ‘Category Button List’ subsection of the ‘Lists’ section, add buttons to the display con-

trol panel that enables the operator to select a category of devices (For more information on cat-
egories, see

Using Categories and Suffixes

on page 190.):

a Click

Add

. The ‘Add Category Button’ dialog box appears:

b Enter a button name in the ‘Button Index’ field.

c Select a ‘Src Category’ (source category) from the drop-down list.

d Select a ‘Dst Category’ (destination category) from the drop-down list.

e Click

OK

. The button appears in the ‘Category Button List’.

f Repeat steps a through e until all desired buttons are added.

9 In the ‘MultiDestination Display’ subsection of the ‘Lists’ section, add buttons to the control

panel that enable the operator to send signals to multiple devices:

a Click on the numbered line to which you want to add a button and click

. The button

appears on that line in the control panel GUI.

The ‘Multi-Destination Display Entry’ dialog box appears:
