Add Master Control

How to Add a Master Control Processor

1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

Launching and Exiting the Application

on page 12.)

2 From the navigation area, select the ‘Tasks’ pane and then ‘Add NVision Master Control’. The

‘Add NVision Master Control’ page appears:

Red text denotes a required field.

3 Enter a ‘Name’ for the master control processor in the field provided.
4 Select a ‘Router Host’ from the drop-down list. By default, the host assigned to master control

is ‘NVCONFIG’.

5 The ‘Primary Control Point’ (which will be the IP address of the processor on the master con-

trol network) by default is set to ‘New’.

6 Click

Add & Edit

. The ‘Master Control Details’ page appears, as shown in Figure 12-2.

Click

Add & Clear

. The master control processor is added and fields in this page are cleared so

that another master control processor can be added immediately. The master control processor
is added with a default IP address.
Or
Click

Clear

to clear all fields without saving any changes.
