11. Control Panels
Adding a Control Panel
The ‘Add Control Panel’ page appears:

3 Enter information in the fields provided. Entries must be entered in all active fields:
Field Description
Type From the drop-down list, select the control panel being added.
ID Enter a unique identification number up to five digits long. Do not use punctuation
marks or symbols.
Name Enter a unique and descriptive name for the control panel, up to 8 characters long. Do
not use punctuation marks or symbols.
User By default, only the user type ‘EnvyUser’ is supported at this time. For more
information, see
Managing User Names on page 509.
Configuration
Options Click the radio button matching the option you want. If no other control panel
configuration currently exists in the NV9000-SE system, all radio buttons are
deactivated except for ‘New’.
If using an existing control panel configuration from outside the NV9000-SE system,
enter a ‘New Name’ in the field provided and select where ‘copied from’ from the drop-
down list.
If copying an existing control panel configuration within the NV9000-SE system, select
the configuration from the ‘Existing’ drop-down list.
