tion Button’ dialog box, pages that create a hierarchy can be selected. You can choose to have the
button jump to a new page or an existing page, creating “child” pages to “parent” pages. For
instructions, see

At the bottom of the ‘Panel Options’ section is the

Clear Configuration

button, which clears the con-

trol panel configuration. Clearing the configuration deletes all configured pages except for page 1,
clears all buttons on that page (all buttons are reset to ‘Undefined’), and sets control panel options
to ‘None’ or deselected, whichever is appropriate. This provides a truly clean configuration, unlike
creating a new configuration in which some of the buttons are pre-configured.

Locating and Viewing Existing Control Panels

Depending on the information you want to view, different pages or tables present different control
panel information. Pages are accessed through the ‘Configuration’ pane, while tables are accessed
through the ‘Views’ pane:

• The ‘Control Panels’ page displays all current details for a single control panel.
• The ‘Panels’ table lists all control panels in a simple format: one control panel per row.

How to Locate and View Existing Control Panels

Use the ‘Control Panels’ page.

1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

Launching and Exiting the Application

on page 12.)

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Configuration’ pane and then ‘Control Panels’. The ‘Con-

trol Panels’ page displays, as shown in Figure 11-48. All control panels currently defined in the
system are listed.
To narrow the list, enter the first characters of the control panel’s name in the ‘Panel Filter’
field. The list is automatically reduced to display only panels matching that character string.
