12. Master Control
Add Master Control
The ‘Router Info’ page appears:

7 In the ‘Router Info’ section, the name entered in the ‘Add NVision Master Control’ page dis-
plays in the ‘Name’ field. You can update it at this time, if desired.
8 In the ‘Router Info’ section, the ‘Protocol’ displays. It is ‘NV Master Control Ethernet Proto-
col’. (See NV Master Control Ethernet Protocol on page 515.)
9 In the ‘Router Connection Info’, assign the IP address of the MCE or MCPM of interest to the
control point.
Control points (also called control ports) are Ethernet ports in the NV9000 server through
which routers, panels, and other devices are connected. For more information on control points,
see
Managing Control Points on page 381.
10 Click
Save
. The user is saved to the system.
