Locating and Viewing Level Sets

How to Locate and View Level Sets Using the ‘Level Sets’ Table

1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See

on page 12.)

2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Views’ pane and then ‘Level Sets’. The ‘Level Sets’ table

appears, as shown in Figure 8-7.
To narrow the list of level sets that display, enter the first characters of a level set name in the
‘Name Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only level sets matching that
character string.

Description

Display Index

The display index number determines the order of display on a control panel. The
lowest level in the level set is considered the “primary” level. See

Updating the

Level Set Index Number

on page 143.

Virtual Level

The virtual levels that compose the level set.

Physical Level

The physical level associated with each virtual level.

Free Source

A free source is a source, usually black and silence, that can be routed to a

destination to free up that destination. The column lists any free sources that have
been assigned to the corresponding virtual level and physical level on the same row.
