11. Control Panels

Adding a Control Panel

NV9605

The ‘NV9605’ page determines how the NV9605 control panel functions and displays. For a full
description of the control panel and functions, see

NV9605

on page 524.

The ‘NV9605’ page is divided into sections:

• Button Layout

A graphic representation of the control panel buttons. The default ‘Page Up’

and ‘Page Down’ buttons scroll through four “pages” of button functions with each page
appearing in the left-most 32 buttons. These may not be changed.

• Button Definitions

Assign a function to the currently selected button in the ‘Button Layout’

field. The options available as definitions change depending on the options selected in the
‘Panel Options’ section.

• Outputs

The general-purpose I/O (GPIO) output connections at the rear of the control panel.

• Inputs

The general-purpose I/O (GPIO) input connections at the rear of the control panel.

• Panel Options

Specify control panel behavior, such as default mode.

The control panel options, button layout and button definitions are configured using the ‘NV9605’
page. When saved, the configurations are communicated to the physical control panel and appear to
the operator using the control panel.
