Updating Level Sets
How to Remove Virtual Levels from a Level Set Using the ‘Level Sets’ Page
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See Launching and Exiting the Application on page 12.)
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Configuration’ pane and then ‘Level Sets’. The ‘Level
Sets’ page appears, as shown in Figure 8-17.
To narrow the list of level sets that display, enter the first characters of a level set name in the
‘Name Filter’ field. The list is automatically reduced to display only level sets matching that
character string.

Warning When a virtual level is removed, the mapping between the virtual level and phys-
ical level(s) is unmapped. This means that if no other virtual level is mapped to a
signal type, all devices managing that signal type may no longer function cor-
rectly. Be sure when removing a virtual level that all devices, routers and control
panels using that virtual level are not negatively impacted.
