Updating a Tieline
and the ‘Tielines’ table is accessed through the ‘Views’ pane. Changes made in the ‘Tielines’ page
and ‘Tielines’ table are reflected in all other associated tables accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
Different NV9000-SE interfaces perform specific tasks, as follow:
Changing a Tieline Name or Description
It is important that tieline names are unique and descriptive in order to avoid confusion. Once
changed, the new tieline name populates all instances of that name throughout the system.
Tieline names and descriptions can be changed using the ‘Tielines’ page, accessed through the
‘Configuration’ pane or the ‘Tielines’ table, accessed through the ‘Views’ pane.
How to Change a Tieline Name Using the ‘Tielines’ Page
1 Launch NV9000-SE. (See Launching and Exiting the Application on page 12.)
2 From the Navigation area, select the ‘Configuration’ pane and then ‘Tielines’. The ‘Tielines’
page displays, as shown in Figure 16-12. All tielines currently defined in the system are listed.
To narrow the list, enter the first characters of the tieline’s name in the ‘Name Filter’ field. The
list is automatically reduced to display only tielines matching that character string.
