NV9575-VF

The ‘NV9575-VF’ page determines how the NV9575-VF tally processor functions and displays.
For a full description of the control panel and functions, see

NV9575-VF

on page 548.

The NV9575-VF tally processor provides general-purpose input connections at the rear of the con-
trol panel. The NV575-VF tally expander does that specifically and has no other controls. 32 opti-
cally isolated inputs (also called GPIs) that can be configured to trigger an event on a transition
from off to on, and to trigger another event on a transition from on to off. Events include:

• A salvo.
• Route the “previous source” switched by any control panel to a destination.
• Route the “previous source” switched by this control panel to a destination.
• Four relays that can be configured to switch on a number of conditions:

• One or more routes occurring on specific levels.
• Conditions involving output ports (destination, level).
• A transition on one or more of the control panel’s GPI inputs.

What devices are connected to the inputs and outputs is entirely up to you.

The ‘NV9575-VF’ page is divided into sections:

• Panel I/O Layout

A graphic representation of the connectors on the control panel. On the left

side are 64 button images representing 64 relay outputs. On the right side are 32 button images
representing 32 optically isolated inputs. An input can trigger a salvo.
When selected, the button is highlighted. Buttons for which inputs/outputs have been assigned
functions display as green.

• Control Point

Specify the control point for the control panel.

To configure the NV9575-VF, button definitions are assigned using the ‘NV9575-VF’ page. When
saved, the configurations are communicated to the physical panel.
