Creating a “Tree” of Pages
The NV9640, NV9641 and NV9642 have a ‘Page Table’ section. A “page” is a predetermined but-
ton layout and functions. By selecting a different page, an operator can view a different set of but-
tons and their functions. An unlimited number of pages can be created, each with its own button
selections. The button layout is organized as a tree-like structure with “parent” pages and “child”
pages. “Parent” pages are one level up from a “child” page; “child” pages are always one level
below a “parent” page. For ease, all “child” pages will be referred to as subpages and the “parent”
page will be referred to as the primary page.
You can have multiple subpages. When a new page is selected, the buttons display functions con-
figured for that page. In other words, if you select a subpage, button functions change to match the
buttons configured for that page in the hierarchy.
The ‘Page Table’ section has three columns: “Page Number’, Page Name’ and ‘Links to Page
Num(s)’. Pages are ordered by number, from lowest to highest with the higher numbers corre-
sponding to pages higher in the “tree.” The page at the top of the “tree” is titled “Default.” Initially,
the “tree” has only a default page. All other pages you add are subpages.
