The remote I/O port is always seen as an adapter by the scanner.
Function
Every device on the remote I/O network is assigned a rack address used to
identify it to the scanner. This parameter specifies the rack address
assigned to the control.

Notes
PLC-5 processors address remote I/O devices in octal. This parameter is
entered as a decimal value. You must manually convert your desired
remote I/O address into a decimal value before entering it here. For
example if you want to assign the 9/Series the remote I/O octal address of
10, you would enter a value of 8 here. The PLC-5 would then use an
address of 10 when communicating to the 9/Series.
The PLC system installer may be able to help you determine this value.
