4.2 Programming Notes

Configuring the DIN editor

The following properties of the DIN editor can be configured in the
main menu:

„

Display/do not display a help graphic next to the dialog box

„

Number of editing windows

„

Font size

You save and load these settings.

Help graphic:

U

Select Config > Help graphic. The editor opens the “Configuration
of help graphic” dialog box.

U

Set whether the help graphic should be displayed.

Number of editing windows:

U

Select Config > Window > Full-size window (or > Double window,
> Triple window). The editor sets the selected number of windows.

Font size:

U

Select Config > Font size > Less than (or > Greater than). The editor
reduces/enlarges the font size.

U

Select Config > Font size > Adjust fonts The editor uses the font
size of the selected window for all editing windows.

Saving/loading editor settings:

U

Select Config > Settings > Save. The editor saves the editor
settings.

U

Select Config > Settings > Load. The editor loads the saved editor
settings including the NC program.

U

Select Config > Settings > Auto-save on. The editor saves the
condition during switch-off.

U

Select Config > Settings > Auto-save off. The editor condition is not
saved during switch-off.
