Assigning the “Exclusion from machining” attribute to the
elements of the turning contour:

U

Select “Attribute > Feed/Peak-to-valley > Exclusion from
machining” in the finished part menu.

U

Select the entire contour, a contour section or individual contour
elements (see “Selections” on page 448).

U

TURN PLUS assigns the attribute.

Assigning the “Exclusion from machining” attribute to a C/Y-axis
contour:

U

Activate the front-face, rear-face or lateral-surface window.

U

Select “Attribute > Machining attribute > Drill (or Mill) > Exclusion
from machining” in the finished part menu.

U

Select the drilling or milling contour.

U

TURN PLUS assigns the attribute.

Deleting machining attributes

You can delete the machining attributes of holes and milling contours.

Deleting the “Drill” machining attribute:

U

Select “Attribute > Machining attribute > Drill > Delete drilling
attributes” in the finished part menu.

U

Select the bore hole.

U

TURN PLUS deletes the machining attributes of this hole.

Deleting the “Mill” machining attribute:

U

Select “Attribute > Machining attribute > Mill > Delete milling
attributes” in the finished part menu.

U

Select the milling contour.

U

TURN PLUS deletes the machining attributes of this milling contour.
