4.3 The DIN PLUS Edit

Block group menu

This function enables NC block groups (several successive NC
blocks) to be moved, copied, deleted or exchanged between NC
programs.

To define an NC block group, highlight the first and last line of the
block group. Then select the desired operation on the block group.

In order to exchange blocks groups between NC programs, copy the
block group to the clipboard. Then read in the block group from the
clipboard. A block group remains in the clipboard until it is overwritten
by another block group.

Marking a block group:

Beginning of block group:

U

Position the cursor on the beginning of a block group.

U

Press “Start mark”

Block group end:

U

Position the cursor on the “end of a block.”

U

Press “End mark”

Saving a block group in the clipboard:

Load the marked block group in the clipboard and delete it:

Select “Edit >Cut.”

Copy the marked block group into the clipboard:

U

Select “Edit > Copy to clipboard”

Get block group from clipboard:

U

Position the cursor at the target position.

U

Select “Edit > Paste from clipboard” The block group is inserted at
the target position.

Deleting a block group:

U

Select “Edit >Delete.” The editor deletes the marked block group
definitively (it is not stored in the clipboard).

Moving a block group:

U

Position the cursor at the target position.

U

Select “Edit >Displace.” The marked block group is moved from its
initial position to the position indicated by the cursor.
